Over 50 hours in the working week for British bosses
August 29th, 2008Latest research conducted by the Bank of Scotland Business Banking shows that small business owners in the country put in an average working week of 51.5 hours. This figure is an increase of almost four hours a week from the previous year’s results.
Managers located in the north-east of England have a normal working week lasting for 51 hours.
In total the research shows small business bosses across Britain are putting in an additional 31.2 million hours per week. The research has also proven that over 7 out of 10 managers take less than 20 days holiday each year.
