Workers skills going unused
March 24th, 2009A new study has shown that companies are poorly equipped to weather the recession because they are not making the most of their employee’s skills.
Research has revealed that up to 40%* of staff members have more skills than are required for their current role.
It also found that 65% of employees believed the primary characteristics of the organisation they work for was “rule and policy bound”, although just five per cent stated this was their preference.
